My Bio
Hi my name is Joakim and i come from a place called Løten, located in Norway.
I am 19 years old and one of my favorite hobbies is drawing. I'm sort of a beginner at it, since i'm still just at the stages of trying to learn the basics, such as trying to get the anatomy right, drawing things in the right proportions to eachother and such. Sadly i gave up on it for a few years, because i had lack of motivation, but i've gotten back at it again this year, with bigger hopes for myself :D.
Often, i find drawing fan art of other characters a very good way for learning, so that i already have a base to start drawing from. I do try to challenge myself in gradually doing more and more on my own though. So as of now, fan art is what most of my drawings are. I look at the characters and works of other artist as an inspiration to keep drawing and to keep getting better. So whenever i draw other characters that are not mine I do my utmost best to give the credits to their rightful owners, as a big thanks for the help i get from them. ;)
What i draw is almost allways anthropomorphic characters, as i find the mix between humans and animals cool. =D
The persons who has inspired me the most to start drawing is Vicnor and oomizuao. If it hadn't been for them i would not have discovered the passion and joy with drawing, so i guess i owe them a big thanks.

As of january 2016, i've decided to start drawing again.
I've had such a big lack of motivation for the last few years, and it has taken me way too long to realize that i can't get better at drawing if im gonna judge every line i draw as heavily negative as i do.
So I sat down, took out my dusty drawing tablet and decided that i was gonna sit here and draw until i had made something i could be satisfied with, something i could look at and feel like "hey, i just drew this, and it's not that bad". And i did. And right now, i have to admit, i am so mad at myself for judging myself too hard these few last years to the point where i couldnt star

Long time, few drawings...

Even though it's been 6 months since i've started to make drawings, i haven't really drawn that much. The only drawings i've made, are those here on DeviantArt.
The main reason for that, is that i never felt that i was good enough for drawing, that i would never become any good at this, and that everyone was better than me.
But i've finally got some sense into my head, and i've realised than i've been comparing myself to others, others who have been doing this for so much longer time that i have, and that they have learned more about drawing than me.
I understood that many of them had probably been in my exact position, and that they too
